Welgedacht Lion Sanctuary; meeting the Lion Whisperer.

In 2015 I was sponsored to go to South Africa and visit Welgedacht after a local Edinburgh resident heard my speech about canned lion hunting at a demonstration in the city. I spent 2 weeks volunteering with lions, as well as photographing the activities at the sanctuary and the unforgettable interaction between the big cats and Kevin Richardson, aka the Lion Whisperer.
